confidential For the lawyers of FLD working for the Peace has generated stigmatization intimidation harassment injury slander illegal vigilance and even violation of the home by unknown persons media and functionaries of the State that do not recognize the Final Peace Accord a situation that we have formally and publicly denounced whereby taking into account our vulnerability we have solicited preventive measures before the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights On March 5 2019 in the middle of a discrediting campaign begun against the JEP the journalist Daniel Jerez of “La FM” published a bold “note” titled “The defenders of Jesús Santrich and their contracts with the JEP” In said note without any context nor mention of the current peace regulations referred to in point two of the present document the journalist manipulates information and generates animosity against three lawyers assigned to the SAAD contracted by the Executive Secretary of the JEP among whom are found the FLD members NADIA GABRIELA TRIVIÑO LÓPEZ and WILLIAM ALBERTO ACOSTA MENÉNDEZ exhibiting them in a malicious manner with obvious ends of stigmatization and intimidation Likewise the journalist suspiciously mentions that the lawyers mentioned are members of FLD and that this legal collective works for the liberty of citizen Seuxis Paucias Hernández Solarte also known as “Jesús Santrich” who like every Colombian citizen has the right of defense and respect for due process The reactions to the “note” of the journalist Daniel Jerez of “La FM” were immediate and harmful: under the hashtag slanderous messages that besides attacking their honor and good names promote hate and constitute a grave risk that can generate aggressions against their personal integrity and the lives of the year has increased against FLD which not only generates censorship and animosity against the lawyers that work in support of the implementation of the Final Peace Accord but also constitutes a risk for the right to life and personal integrity of all the human rights defenders who belong to FLD unless the Colombian State might take measures to guarantee the protection of our rights in conformity with the Political Constitution of Colombia the Presidential Directive Number 007 of 1999 the Ministerial Directive Number 09 of 2003 the Basic Principles concerning the Function of Lawyers 1990 and the Declaration concerning Human Rights Defenders 1998 that establish the obligation of the State and of the governments to guarantee the carrying out of the legal profession and the exercise of the defense of human rights without intimidations obstacles harassment undue interference nor persecutions We consider with extreme gravity that in flagrant violation of the principles of the Social State of Law functionaries of the State and the communication media “La FM” “El Tiempo” and “Agency API” promote animosity and generate a atmosphere of hate against the lawyers and human rights defenders that belong to FLD and are assigned to the SAAD given that in the past similar practices have provoked assaults and assassinations especially if one takes into account that according to the People’s Defender Ombudsman the number of assassinations of social leaders and human rights defenders has climbed to 164 committed between November 2018 and January 2019 We hold responsible the Colombian State her only these types of resources could be defined as commons However there are plenty of examples demonstrating that people can collectively manage all sorts of things not just the natural resources services—can be communalised meaning they can be shared and governed by the community that handles them Another frequently mentioned concept of commons focuses on common goods—things that should be together without a top-down dictate My take on commons is engaged with all the three definitions but is broader To me commons are social systems based on three essential principles The first is common like The major difference between public and common assets lies in who governs them A public park or a street are managed by the state which has its own political priorities For example not only do pedestrian movements are restricted because the roads are taken up by car traffic due to the rules defined by the authorities The commons are administered by a community of people who collectively communities what do you mean exactly By community I mean a group of people united around a common project defining objectives and values making decisions and thus developing the commons systems The ability of communities to be both autonomous and resilient in relation to the pressure from the state and corporate interests is of strategic importance For instance radical commons seeking to produce affordable organic food while sustaining an income for small-scale farmers have to adapt to the legislation designed to suit the interests of large-scale farmers and agribusiness What about a society which might be already segregated along class and racial lines There are wealthy gated communities on the one hand and ghettos on the other It goes without saying that the assets of these communities their capacity to manage resources and their political power are incomparable Correct But the point of democratic organisation is to start from where you are and by pooling resources together and collaborating improve your condition No matter how grave is the level of class and racial segregation if everybody just stays passive our collective power would be diminishing further The commons is our chance to organise our struggle improve our livelihood and take the decision-making power in our hands Here is a stark example Back in 2004 I visited a few towns in South America and witnessed some of their anti-privatisation struggles It was a massive movement! I could observe the difference between those people at the bottom of society who accepted any state authority’s initiative and those who decided to organise and reclaim their resources The latter had an immediate advantage Rallying against the privatisation of electricity and the increase in electricity tariffs was a radical mass movement in South America Simultaneously there were initiatives for water privatisation and installation of water meters The movement literally reclaimed access to these resources—it involved electricians and hydraulic engineers who helped the communities to reconnect water In an extremely poor town with 80 unemployment these women were able to cultivate their fields and produce vegetables They rejected racial and class segregation They developed recycling commons for building a movement for broader cooperation Until a few years ago I heard about commons mostly in relation to the ‘tragedy of the commons’ according to which in a shared resource system individuals would act selfishly in the name of their self-interest Thus their behaviour would be contrary to the common good of all users How does the concept of commons respond to the ‘tragedy of the commons’ ‘The Tragedy of the Commons’ was the title of the paper by Garrett Hardin published in 1968 in Science He explored a hypothetical scenario: a field is used by several herdsmen and obviously resolved one way or another within the lifetime of most people reading this The movie about this struggle has been written with one of two possible endings In the first we are unable to overcome our self-destructive tendencies and the last of our species dies by radiation poisoning or choking on the dust of an uninhabitable planet In the second we evolve beyond our self-destructive tendencies and move into a healthy relationship with our minds our ecosystem and each other Neither of these two endings would work in a Hollywood blockbuster In the first humanity dies off not with a bang but with a whimper as a result of nuclear fallout or climate collapse In the second conflict and drama as we know it will cease to exist as we pull up and away from the self-destructive patterns which brought us to this point We’ll either keep along this same destructive trajectory and meet its inevitable end very soon or we’ll deviate from that trajectory into something wildly different In either case there is no kissing the girl while the credits roll no coolly striding away from the explosion and no spin-kicking the bad guy off a cliff into lava after uttering a short memorable line I say this because it seems like a lot of people are kind of hoping for a Hollywood ending in some way People are hoping that Donald Trump gets arrested for conspiring with Russia and dragged off in chains and everything goes back to normal People are hoping that President Trump drains the swamp locks up Hillary Clinton arrests most of Capitol Hill for child molestation and destroys the Deep State People are hoping there’s a violent revolution which restores individual sovereignty to the citizenry People are hoping there’s a peaceful people’s revolution which ousts the ruling class and replaces the status quo with whatever their personal favored strain of leftism is Everyone’s subconsciously looking for some big momentous climax where the Good Guys are vindicated and the Bad Guys are brought to justice And it just isn’t going to go down like that If you’ve paid much attention to human behavior throughout your life you know that we reliably repeat the same patterns until there’s inner healing and personal growth If you’ve experienced inner healing and personal growth you know that the actual experience of it is generally anti-climactic True healing is always a game of subtraction and it moves in the exact opposite direction of the egoically satisfying mental narratives which Hollywood has grown so skilled at providing us When true inner healing takes place it doesn’t usually make for a good story and its effects often go unnoticed for some time because they are evidenced not in the addition of something new but in the subtraction of something old You look at your memories of your old unwholesome behavior patterns and think “Hmm how strange that I used to do that sort of thing!” If humanity transcends its unwholesome patterns at the end of this movie it’s going to happen in much the same way Not in an egoically gratifying way where we see our most hated political figures punished and our own ideological preferences uplifted but in the simple falling away of old patterns If human consciousness evolves to the point where we can avert our own destruction then it will necessarily have dropped the egoic patterns of fear greed and negativity which kept us bound to our old destructive behaviors Were that to happen we’d probably struggle to even remember what we used to stress and rage about when looking at the state of our world Nothing else will do the trick If we do come to some dramatic egoically satisfying climax like where all the oligarchs and warmongers are guillotined and their wealth distributed among the needy or whatever then it isn’t the end of the movie We have not arrived at a point where we’ve transcended our old patterns we’ve just seen those old patterns manifest in a way which happens to be egoically pleasing to us in this particular instance And we will soon see them manifest in ways which we find far from pleasing again We will not arrive at our happy ending unless we collectively heal away those old egoic addictions to drama and conflict Even if we did somehow manage to create a utopia without healing away those old egoic addictions it would be quickly destroyed and the countdown to doomsday restarted by the gnashing looping patterns which brought us to the brink of extinction in the first place Because guess what From the perspective of our current state of drama-addicted and conflict-addicted collective consciousness a world without drama and conflict is dull and worthless Those addictions will keep leading us toward our destruction until we shed them if for no other reason than our psychological inability to live in a peaceful harmonious world Are you able to live in a peaceful harmonious world A world that is boring to the ego and unsuitable for Hollywood scripts When I look at the behavior of a lot of activists on social media it seems like a lot of them fear an end to drama and conflict more than they fear the end of the world It sounds funny to say but I think this is legitimately the case for many people Our addiction to drama and conflict is so strong and our ability to just be at peace in the here and now so weak that keeping things from becoming harmonious can feel like an existential life-and-death need And we all know people who are strongly predisposed toward stirring up drama to feed that illusory need To be able to live in a peaceful world where we collaborate harmoniously with our ecosystem and our fellow humans we’ll have to transcend our inability to simply be To have a world where all human ingenuity is pointed at making the world a better place instead of inventing new ways to create landfill for mass consumption and new ways to kill and exploit each other we’re going to have to have minds that are able to survive in an environment with a lot less conflict and once our ingenuity really gets going a lot less work as well Minds that can rest comfortably without frenetic busyness or drama Such minds are currently rare among our species The reason there are so many Hollywood movies about dystopian futures and hardly any about utopian futures is because there is no drama and conflict in utopia Hollywood movies bring in the big bucks by being egoically pleasing to watch it’s ego candy to watch heroes kicking villains off cliffs because we can place ourselves in the role of the protagonist and imagine ourselves emerging triumphantly from the drama and conflicts displayed on the screen This is why I refer to myself as a “utopia prepper” In order to have a peaceful harmonious world we’re going to have to have minds that are receptive to such a thing I consider cultivating such a mind to be the most important thing I do in paving the way for paradise on earth abandoning all attachments to our old ways of operating and opening a path of 2018 The group believes that the research it conducts is necessary because “previous studies it has funded which have not yet been published in a peer-reviewed journal indicate that some vaccines contain impurities or lack the active ingredients they claim to contain” Nature points out that “Some scientists in Italy are up in arms over a donation from the organization that oversees the nation’s professional biology qualification to an advocacy group that opposes the country’s policy of mandatory childhood vaccination” This part is confusing: Why would any group or any scientist oppose more safety studies regarding vaccinations Wouldn’t professionals on both sides of the coin be in support of as much vaccine safety testing as possible ONB president Vincenzo D’Anna told Nature in an e-mail interview that there is a need for truly independent vaccine research because in his opinion work conducted in public laboratories and at universities is usually influenced or funded by companies that produce vaccines “The goal is to contribute to complete the biological and chemical analyses on vaccines” he said in the interview part of which the ONB has published in its Bulletin Again Nature points out that many scientists dismiss the need for more vaccine safety testing and that they are upset That being said it’s a comforting thought that ONB disagrees and that they are following antigens: tetanus diphtheria and pertussis toxoids inactivated poliomyelitis viral strains 1-2-3 and hepatitis B surface antigen Corvelva discovered that none of these antigens were actually reactions According to Corvelva Tetanus diphtheria and pertussis toxoids D antigens of Poliomyelitis 1-2-3 hepatitis B proteins obtained with genetic engineering and Haemophylus polysaccharides chemically linked to tetanus toxoid as carrier Toxoids are created by treatments with formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde that should remove toxicity keeping intact their ability to stimulate protective antibodies against original toxins We were expecting to find the three toxoids and the other antigens not modified by treatment with formaldehyde and glutaraldehyde to separate the antigens from each other and to be digestible by the enzyme specific for proteins trypsin We have found instead a real polymer insoluble and indigestible that we supposed to be the set of antigens chemically bound together has to be defined if this is present as an aggregate of the individual antigens or a single macromolecule on which we can find in literature partial information regarding the single antigens This macromolecule could not be recognized in any way by the protein databases and in fact it turned out to be a solid compound of an unknown chemical structure Proteins solubility and their digestion ie the capacity to divide them into small peptide fragments are two typical proteins characteristics that not only makes it possible to study them through some specific analysis methods but are also fundamental for the interaction with the immune system to create protective antibodies because if the protein structure is heavily altered from the original one the new antibodies result completely different from those that are able to attack the original antibodies causing illnesses Since this polymer we have encountered derived from the antigenic mix is not only different for its spatial conformation but it’s chemically different so we can state that we are not facing antigens similar to the original ones but in the form of a compound with an unknown and unpredictable toxicity and efficacy source The fact that the vaccine antigens were not detected is seriously concerning and so is the fact that of the 65 signs of chemical contaminants only 35 are known This was only the first phase of this safety testing as a second analytical study with standard controls will be released 7 chemical toxins were also identified and the group states that these toxins have a structure that
