All ‘Jews’ today are the Khazars converts and Edomites some call them the Khazarian Mafia KM hellbent on a World Government as was the ruling Jewish class in the times of Jesus Herod was an Edomite after Esau Malachi 1: 3 Romans 9:13 not Jacob Israel These Jew Fraudsters believe themelves to be Israelites Hebrews or from the royal tribe of Judah claim the Bible Consignor gives themselves mandate to rule the whole world Psalm 2: 6-9 Psalm 2: 10-11 Deuteronomy 20: 10-14 Deuteronomy 20 : 12-17 Isaiah 60: 5 60: 10-11 60:12 60: 14-16 Psalm 2: 8 and a Judahite or descendent of the Tribe of Judah most of the apostles were Israelites only one of them was Jewish Judas The first time Jews are Mentioned in the Bible is in II Kings 16: 6105: 44 111: 6 Jesus was a Galilean or resident of Galilee Matthew 26:69 John 7:41 and then only in translations revised in the eighteenth century where we find Israel was at war with the Jews and drave the Jews from elathane The ‘Jews’ in ‘Jesus’ time were Edomites/Turkic Edom or Edomite had BEEN translated by Greek and Latin into Ioudaios and Iudaeus meaning a Judean or person living in Judea The original King James version of the Bible 1611 translated IDUMAEANS-Judean into Iewes The first Jews were Democrats say defending Israel harder under Trump-Netanyahu alliance August 25th 2019 Jesus Christ ✝ WASHINGTON — For the last several decades one of the easiest positions to take on Capitol Hill was to unequivocally support Israel The reasons for this were manifold: from the power and efficacy of the pro-Israel lobby to the simple reality that most Americans have historically believed in the legitimacy of the Israeli cause In today’s Washington however things may no longer be so clear cut The views of congresswomen Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar — who each support the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions BDS campaign against Israel — are far from mainstream They are only two out of 235 Democratic lawmakers Get The Times of Israel’s Daily Edition by email and never miss our top stories Free Sign Up But Jerusalem’s decision to bar the two of them from entering the country last week has brought to the forefront a new reality: Israel has become increasingly more difficult for Democrats to defend “I think we’re going to have to work harder to make the case” Democratic Congressman Brad Schneider a staunch pro-Israel supporter told The Times of Israel on Friday “I don’t think it’s harder to make the case The facts are still the same Israel is still our most valuable ally in the region But we will have to work harder” That’s not because Democrats have become suddenly hostile to the notion of a Jewish state It’s because the leader of the Jewish state has aligned his country with an American president who has made it his mission to turn Israel into a partisan cause “This was obviously an attempt to hurt Israel” said California Congressman Brad Sherman a Democrat “Maybe not intentionally but he’s taking a country with essentially one friend in the world and is trying to turn it into a country with half a friend in the world” Sherman who is one of the strongest Israel supporters in the House pinned the blame for the incident almost exclusively on US President Donald Trump who he called a “pseudo-Zionist” who “uses Israel to benefit his own interests” In July Israel announced it would allow Omar and Tlaib to visit despite a 2017 Israeli law that bars any foreigner who knowingly promotes Israel boycotts But last week the Netanyahu government reversed course after Trump warned that it would “show great weakness” for Israel to allow them in “This was not an Israeli action” Sherman told The Times of Israel “Israel has taken action under intense coercion of the president of the United States When the president tells them to do it they have to do it God knows what Trump would have done if they didn’t” Since then Trump has tweeted multiple times that the two freshmen congresswomen “hate Israel” and are “the face of the Democratic Party” In other words he’s been using the incident to boost his standing among pro-Israel constituencies — most notably with evangelical Christians Yet this is just the latest episode involving Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the past year that has made his government unpalatable to American liberals In February he struck a deal to allow an anti-Arab racist party into the governing coalition a move that US commentators equated with nominating someone from the Ku Klux Klan to a cabinet post In March he vowed to annex West Bank settlements Some liberal activists see the the US and Israel as facing a similar challenge: that of combating the rise of an autocratic populist leader who energizes and enables his nation’s darkest forces “For people who are upset by what’s happening here and there — this is a political fight” said Jeremy Ben-Ami who heads the progressive Zionist group J Street “There is a right and wrong and if you believe in certain democratic principles you have to fight against those who don’t” What about the next wave of freshmen Democrats Schneider is known by some in Washington as an AIPAC Democrat He’s closely aligned with the powerful pro-Israel lobby Indeed he wrote and introduced a House resolution passed earlier this summer that condemned the BDS movement As such he often meets with freshmen members of Congress to discuss the importance of the US-Israel alliance But since the Omar and Tlaib ban he envisions those conversations will require a much harder sell “When I sit down with new members of Congress as I’ve done in the past there may be some initial reluctance and resistance” he said “But I think we’ll still have the facts on our side to make the case which is why it would have made sense to let Omar and Tlaib go to Israel because now Israel looks like it has something to hide” Schneider said that Israel’s Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer called him shortly before the decision was announced last week While Schneider says he believes that on Israel Omar and Tlaib are “not just wrong they’re dead wrong” he noted that he had “an extended conversation” with Dermer in which he warned him about the possible ramifications Schneider said he’d told Dermer that “keeping them from visiting the country would not just amplify their messages but give them a soundstage to broadcast them” He added wistfully “And that’s exactly what we’ve seen happen They’ve gotten a lot of air time since the decision was made” Source Article from Related Posts Life under Israeli occupation – daily incessant of Paris August 25th 2019 Jesus Christ ✝ PARIS AP — Seventy-five years ago they helped free Europe from the Nazis This weekend US veterans are back in Paris to celebrate and commemorate Now in their 90s these men aren’t afraid to cry about what they saw in World War II And they want everyone to remember what happened back then so that it doesn’t happen again “The veterans all the veterans of World War II I think we saved the world” said Harold Angle who came to France with the US 28th Infantry Division in 1944 and recounted his experiences to The Associated Press in Paris “To be under the domination of a dictatorship like the Hitler regime and some of the terrible terrible things that they did Get The Times of Israel’s Daily Edition by email and never miss our top stories Free Sign Up “When you talk about taking little kids out on a firing range and shooting them for target practice…” Emotion choked his voice “I can’t imagine anybody doing things like that So I think we really did save the world The guy had to be stopped” Now 96 he’s among Allied veterans French resistance fighters and others taking part in ceremonies Saturday and Sunday marking the 75th anniversary of the military operation that liberated Paris from Nazi occupation Angle from Chambersburg Pennsylvania landed in Normandy in 1944 and moved into eastern France where his division fought through a brutal winter He saved a piece of a bullet that hit his helmet and keeps it with a wartime photo of himself and a letter he wrote home to his mother describing his scrape with death Steve Melnikoff 99 of Cockeysville Maryland came ashore on Omaha Beach on D-Day June 6 1944 with the 29th Infantry Division It was one of the most pivotal days in the war — but to him just one of many life-and-death experiences infantrymen faced on the front lines of history’s deadliest conflict “What we went through to do what we did people don’t realize” he said He still has pictures in his head of a fellow soldier falling beside him and another Of the muddy holes he called home Of the German machine guns each capable of firing thousands of rounds War he says is “nasty smelly terrible” But he maintains “it was important for someone to do this” to stop Hitler from taking over more of the world Donald Cobb of Evansville Indiana took part in the invasions of Normandy and of southern France from aboard ship operating high-frequency antennae to detect German submarines and helping load ammunition He’s back in peaceful Paris this week with the Greatest Generations Foundation which organizes trips for veterans He sometimes feels “survivor guilt” and has one fundamental message for younger generations: “Learn history and don’t repeat mistakes” Harold Radish now a 95-year-old retired teacher arrived in France in 1944 fought his way to Germany — and then was captured Hunger lice and dysentery dominated life as a prisoner of war His family in Brooklyn thought they’d never see him again As a Jew he remembers a German guard accusing him and Wall Street of starting the war He remains surprised and grateful to have made it out alive He came to Paris later and reveled in Parisians’ appreciation “That’s what’s important about the liberation of Paris it was a new thing something good had changed the world was gonna get a little better … You came in to Paris you were a hero There were the mademoiselles all around” He smiled “You know we in the prison camp talked about food constantly As soon as we were liberated that day the talk was all sex” Gregory Melikian 95 now a hotel owner in Phoenix was a high-speed radio operator working at Gen Dwight D Eisenhower’s headquarters in nearby Versailles when Paris fell “It was very important” he said “There was only one Paris” The fight for the French capital was faster and easier for the Allies than their longer-than-expected battle through Normandy and its gun-filled hedgerows But it was still messy and deadly with more than 1400 Parisians and 3200 German troops killed In May 1945 Melikian was in the Reims high school where the Germans surrendered As the youngest radio operator available Eisenhower wanted him to send out the encrypted news of the momentous occasion so that he could talk about it the rest of his life “And here I am” he said incredulous “75 years later” Source Article from Related Posts Life in prison plus from the fact that more people are living in poverty than ever because he has failed as a president” Tlaib and Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar — the first two Muslim women elected to Congress — were denied entry to Israel last week over their support for the Palestinian-led boycott movement Israel had granted Omar and Tlaib permission to enter in principle last month but banned them from visiting the country last Thursday under a 2017 law allowing it to expel or deny entry to anyone who backs the Boycott Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel The decision was made less than two hours after Trump tweeted that it would be a show of “great weakness” if Israel gave them permission to come and the reversal was widely seen as the result of pressure from the US president who has sparred with the lawmakers On Tuesday Trump ramped up his attacks on Tlaib after the Michigan Democrat got visibly emotional during a press conference discussing her ban “Sorry I don’t buy Rep Tlaib’s tears I have watched her violence craziness and most importantly WORDS for far too long Now tears” Trump tweeted “She hates Israel and all Jewish people She is an anti-Semite She and her 3 friends are the new face of the Democrat Party Live with it!” Tlaib a US-born Palestinian-American from Michigan had also planned to visit her 90-year-old grandmother in the West Bank and submitted a request to go on humanitarian grounds promising that she would not use the trip to urge boycotting Israel Israeli officials said she could make the family visit but Tlaib then declined She said her grandmother had urged her not to come under what they considered such humiliating circumstances Tlaib and Omar are known as supporters of the BDS a campaign that seeks to force Israel through economic pressure and social and cultural ostracism to dismantle its military presence in the West Bank Supporters say the movement is a nonviolent way of protesting Israel’s 52-year military rule over the Palestinians but Israel says it aims to delegitimize the state’s existence Tlaib and Omar are part of the “squad” of four liberal House newcomers — all women of color — whom Trump has labeled as the face of the Democratic Party as he runs for reelection The Republican president subjected them to a series of racist tweets last month in which he called on them to “go back” to their “broken” countries They are US citizens — Omar became a citizen after moving to the US as a refugee from war-torn Somalia Trump widened his attacks in recent days and in highly controversial comments said Jews who voted for Democrats were being “disloyal” American Jewish leaders condemned Trump over his remarks which were seen as employing anti-Semitic tropes of dual loyalty It was initially unclear who he meant Jews were being disloyal toward He later said he was referring to disloyalty to Israel and the Jewish people Trump has repeatedly voiced his frustration over his unpopularity among American Jews despite his close support for Israel and his steps to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the US embassy there Indeed more than 75 percent of American Jews voted for Democrats in the 2018 midterms according to exit polls That marked a four percentage point increase from the percentage of Jewish voters 71 who pulled the lever for Hillary Clinton over Trump in 2016 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has not publicly commented on Trump’s accusations against Jewish Democrat voters But President Reuven Rivlin spoke Wednesday with House Speaker Democratic congresswoman Nancy Pelosi to impress upon her that the Jewish state’s ties with the United States were entirely bipartisan “The relationship between the State of Israel and the United States is a link between peoples which relies on historical ties deep and strong friendships and shared values that are not dependent on the relationship with one particular party” Rivlin told Pelosi The Associated Press contributed to international summit with the leaders of the globe’s economic powers as he confronts the consequences of his preference for going it alone both in a sharply divided United States and an interconnected world The meeting of the Group of Seven nations — Britain Canada France Germany Italy Japan and the US — in the beach resort town of Biarritz comes at one of the most unpredictable moments in Trump’s White House tenure with his public comments and decision-making increasingly erratic and acerbic of late Trump growing more isolated in Washington faces a tepid reception on the world stage where a list of challenges awaits Anxiety is growing over a global slowdown and there are new points of tension with allies on trade Iran and Russia Get The Times of Israel’s Daily Edition by email and never miss our top stories Free Sign Up Fears of a financial downturn are spreading meaning the need for cooperation and a collective response is essential Yet Trump has ridiculed Germany for its economic travails at a time when he may have to turn to Chancellor Angela Merkel and others to help blunt the force of China’s newly aggressive tariffs on US goods Those trade penalties combined with the economic slowdown have raised political alarms for Trump’s reelection effort Before he left Washington Trump declared that US businesses with dealings in China are “hereby ordered” to begin moving home There was no immediate explanation of just what he expected or what authority he had to make it happen He also imposed higher tariffs on Chinese imports “Tariffs are working out very well for us” Trump said “People don’t understand that yet” Earlier he had made light of a sharp drop in the financial markets in reaction to his latest trade actions His tongue-in-cheek tweet speculated that the Dow’s plunge could be tied to the departure of a lower-tier candidate in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination In recent days Trump has sent mixed signals on a number of policy fronts At one point he moved to simmer the trade conflict with China in order to ease the impact on American consumers during the holiday shopping season At another he flip-flopped on the need for tax cuts to stimulate an economy that Trump publicly insists is rocketing Feeding Trump’s anxiety aides say is his realization that the economy — the one sturdy pillar undergirding his bid for a second term — is undeniably wobbly Now the president who has long eschewed multilateralism hopes to use his time in Biarritz to rally global leaders around the need to do more to promote economic growth He engineered a late change to the summit agenda requesting a working session on global economic issues For the world leaders it was the latest example of unpredictability from Trump After two-and-a-half years of Trump’s presidency traditional American allies have come to expect the unexpected Increasingly they are looking elsewhere for leadership “They have figured out how to deal with this president” said Jon Alterman a senior vice president at the Center for Strategic and International Studies “I think what we’re going to see out of this summit is on the one hand an effort by countries and the leaders to align with the president but also an understanding that we’ll have to do more without the US president” Trump arrived on Air Force One after changing airplanes in Bordeaux on account of the shorter runway in Biarritz His motorcade passed through barricaded streets on his way to the heavily secured summit site as some residents looked on from windows overhead The annual G-7 summit has historically been used to highlight common ground among the world’s leading democracies But in a bid to work around Trump’s impulsiveness French President Emmanuel Macron has eschewed plans for a formal joint statement from this gathering Last year’s summit hosted by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ended in acrimony when Trump felt he had been slighted by Trudeau after the president left the meeting Trump tweeted insults at Trudeau from aboard Air Force One as he flew to a summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un Trump withdrew his signature from the statement of principles that all seven nations had agreed to At his first G-7 summit in 2017 Trump’s strong feelings against climate change roiled the gathering in Italy Trump has made his “America first” priorities clear at every turn At a recent campaign rally in New Hampshire the crowd roared with approval when Trump said: “I’m the President of the United States of America I’m not the president of the world” Addressing the global slowdown isn’t the only pressing challenge that Trump has discovered requires joint action For more than a year his administration has struggled with persuading European leaders to repatriate captured fighters from the Islamic State group So far his entreaties have been met with deaf ears Alterman and Heather Conley the Europe expert at CSIS both said Macron appeared to be trying to fill the void left by Trump on the world stage noting the French leader’s recent efforts to try to reduce tensions between the US and Iran Many of the summit proceedings will take place behind closed doors in intimate settings designed for the leaders to develop personal relationships with one another Trump White House aides said was looking forward to meeting with new British Prime Minister Boris Johnson the brash pro-Brexit leader whose election he’d backed Trump has scheduled individual meetings with several of his counterparts including Macron Trudeau Merkel Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Other topics on the agenda will be the clashes between police and pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong Iran’s renewed nuclear enrichment and interference with shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and the Islamic State prisoners currently imprisoned by American-backed Kurdish forces in Syria Increasingly fearful of an economic slowdown’s potential to diminish his 2020 electoral chances Trump intended to press leaders about what can be done to spur growth in the US and abroad as well as to open European Japanese and Canadian markets to American manufacturers and producers Trump has imposed or threatened to impose tariffs on all three markets in his pursuit of free fair and reciprocal trade It is unclear what substantive steps could be taken by the leaders to address the global slowdown and much of that discussion stands to be dominated by disagreements on Trump’s trade policies While on French soil Trump also intends to raise with Macron and the other leaders the issue of a digital services tax that France has imposed on major technology companies such as Google and Facebook despite Trump’s threats of retaliatory tariffs on French history and must be stopped American writer and political analyst Stephen Lendman has warned Media reports said on Thursday that an official at the US State Department announced on Thursday that the shipping sector was on notice to “aggressively” enforce US sanctions against Iran The US has threatened to aggressively enforce its sanctions on those potentially assisting the return of an Iranian-operated supertanker Press TV interviewed Lendman an author and radio host with excellent credentials about this matter on Fiday who described the Trump administration as a dangerous regime whose actions were outside the international law and threatened the global community He said “The most dangerous regime in US history is in power today” “Trump regime operates extra-judicially in virtually everything it does” Lendman said The American political analyst said Trump’s men like Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his National Security Adviser John Bolton would do anything possible to wage “what I call war by other means on Iran Lendman warned that sanctions war and other hostile actions including the nuclear option were some of the plans they had against Iran in their minds “This is the way the US operates This US is a lawless country Everyone knows this in the international community yet they either go along with the US or they are cowed into submission” “What the US is really doing is wanting all other nations entities individuals and anyone having normal relations with Iran to face US wrath So anyone legally buying Iranian oil faces the likelihood of the illegal US sanctions” he said adding” US must be stopped” Lendman said the Europeans should stand up against the US “The only way to stop them is the world community saying we are not taking this anymore because if we go along with this we may be destroyed” he said “This is exactly what will happen if the world community does not stand up and get some back bone and challenge the US” he warned Lendman said “It was defeated in its game to get Gibraltar to turn over Iran’s supertanker Gibraltar would not do it Gibraltar’s Supreme Court turned it down Gibraltar’s government turned US down – embarrassing the US” US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warns that anyone who “touches or supports” an Iran-operated supertanker will be punished “The US does not like to be turned down when it makes a request or a demand it expects to be obeyed It wasn’t Just imagine — tiny Gibraltar defied the US to go along with what it wanted because it would be breaking international law and its own law if it did so it universally seen as an arm of British foreign policy August 25th 2019 Jesus Christ ✝ The British Council has been forced into the spotlight by the conviction in Iran of Aras Amiri on national security charges Amiri an Iranian national with British residency was convicted in May of spying for the British intelligence services She recently lost her final appeal against her 10-year jail sentence Based on media reports and official announcements by the Iranian judiciary the case against Amiri revolved around her employment with the British Council and her lead role in organising the Council’s Iran-related activities The British Council can trace its roots to the “British Committee for Relations with Other Countries” which was formed in 1934 Thus from the outset the Council was an integral part of British foreign policy formulation and implementation This foundational role has only intensified in recent years as the Council has established deep roots in over 100 countries where it ostensibly undertakes a wide range of “cultural” and “educational” activities Founded as a charity governed by Royal Charter the British Council is extensively supported by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office FCO a connection that it has never tried to hide The Council admits that 15 percent of its budget is provided by the FCO whilst 85 percent of its turnover comes from “teaching” “exams” “tendered contracts” and “partnerships” From as far afield as Buenos Aires to New Delhi and Hong Kong the British Council maintains huge offices and runs extensive “programmes” whose aim is to improve Britain’s international profile and serve the UK’s core interests But is the British Council a “genuine” educational and cultural body The Guardian – which is no enemy of the British Council – ran a features article on October 8 2012 where it questioned the sincerity of the Council’s role and the utility of its products Entitled “The British Council: friend or foe” the Guardian piece gave a platform to overseas-based British educators who had run into conflict with the British Council One educator told the Guardian: “Every company I know has concerns about the British Council … It uses its monopoly position aggressively: if you don’t play ball it can simply ignore you or decide to collaborate with someone else” Due to the nature of its work and specifically its proximity to the FCO and by extension MI6 the British Council has run into difficulties with host governments In recent times the most publicised case of the Council’s troubles was in Russia where it was ordered to close down its offices in December 2007 The Russian Foreign Ministry claimed the Council had been working “illegally” in Russia Most observers at the time interpreted the Russian move as a punitive action against the FCO and by extension MI6 The British Council has also been subject to physical attacks by insurgent groups and non-state actors who view the organisation as a barely concealed extension of British foreign policy The worst attack took place in Kabul Afghanistan in August 2011 when Afghan insurgents attacked and destroyed the British Council compound killing 12 people in the process Additionally in April 2013 Libyan militants tried to bomb the British Council compound in Tripoli In the final analysis it does seem odd that an ostensibly “cultural” and “educational” organisation broader plan to increase the US presence in the arctic and develop deeper relationships with Greenlandic officials The Associated Press obtained a copy of the letter by the State Department on Friday The US has a “strategic interest in enhancing political economic and commercial relationships across the Arctic region” said the letter to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee A permanent diplomatic presence would allow the US to “protect essential equities in Greenland while developing deeper relationships with Greenlandic officials and society” the letter said Trump provoked a diplomatic dispute with US-ally Denmark this week after he proposed that the US purchase Greenland and the Danish government rejected the idea Greenland is the world’s largest island and a semi-autonomous region of Denmark President Trump has called off a visit to Denmark after the country’s prime minister rebuffed his idea of buying Greenland Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen called it an “absurd her “a wonderful woman” “We had a great conversation he told reporters before leaving the White House for the G7 summit in France “We have a very good relationship with Denmark … Very nice She put a call in and I appreciated it very much” The US opened a consulate in Greenland in 1940 after Nazi Germany occupied Denmark It closed in 1953 The new one would open next year in the capital of August 25th 2019 Jesus Christ ✝ In his 22 years in Congress 1960 – 1982 Paul Findley achieved a sterling record for fundamental positions proposals and breakthroughs that revealed a great man pure and simple He never stopped learning and applying his knowledge to advance the right course of action regardless of political party ideology or pressure from various groups Findley a courteous kindly ex-World War II navy veteran passed away earlier this month at the age of 98 in his home town of Jacksonville Illinois The District he represented was the one Abraham Lincoln was elected from for his one term in the House of Representatives Findley was a student of Lincoln’s life and embraced Lincoln’s view that “a politician should be willing to reject outmoded ways of thinking that no longer fit the times” A public servant Findley was a thoughtful studious legislator with a superb sense of justice He was an early civil rights champion His opposition to runaway Presidential war-making was reflected in his leading support for the War Powers Act of 1973 though he wanted stronger curbs on the White House’s unilateral militarism Having been a journalist and owner of a small-town newspaper – the Pike Press before going to Congress in 1960 Findley used his writing skills to explain issues regarding agricultural policies a foreign policy of diplomacy and peace and nuclear arms controls He was an outspoken early opponent of the Vietnam War and a critic of the Pentagon’s chronically wasteful spending He was not a “press-release” legislator staking out his opinions and leaving it at that He worked hard and smart to lead to persuade to get down to the minute details of coalition-building lawmaking and legislating Back in Jacksonville after his Congressional career ended in 1982 Findley wrote books and articles and lectured around the country He courageously defended Americans of the Islamic faith after 9/11 from bias exclusion and intimidation He did his civic duties with local associations He also started the Lucille Findley Educational Foundation in memory of his beloved wife – an Army nurse – he met in war-time Guam They had two children He always found time to be helpful to serve others both locally and nationally He also played tennis daily into his mid-eighties Findley possessed more than a streak of mid-west populism Agricultural subsidies disproportionally going to a few wealthy landowners upset him greatly He got through the House after years of rejection and over the objections of the Republican leadership a 20000 yearly limit of such subsidies per farm The measure failed in the Senate Once again in 1973 he bucked his Party and introduced an impeachment resolution against Nixon’s vice president Spiro Agnew who later resigned in disgrace over a bribery scandal It was Findley’s interest in US policies and operations in the Middle East following his 1973 successful effort to obtain the release of a constituent from South Yemen that showed his moral courage his belief in dialogue between adversaries and his commitment to the treatment of all people with dignity and respect It also led to his defeat by Democrat Richard J Durbin now Illinois’s senior Senator Palestine connection and AIPAC Findley learned that the dispossessed and occupied Palestinian people were being treated unfairly and deprived of their human rights and self-determination He visited refugee camps in the region He met with Yasser Arafat head of the Palestine Liberation Organization PLO and he urged peaceful diplomatic resolution of that conflict For this sensible though rare outreach by a Congressional lawmaker he earned the immense enmity of US partisans of the Israeli government How dare he speak out on behalf of Palestinians even though he continued to vote for foreign aid to a prosperous militarily advanced Israeli superpower As the New York Times reported: “He became convinced that the influential pro-Israel lobby known as AIPAC the American Israel Public Affairs Committee had a stranglehold on American politicians that prevented the establishment of a Palestinian state and prevented rational dealings with Arab leaders in general” AIPAC activists nationally and with their local affiliates openly mobilized to defeat Findley in the 1980 election They failed to do so In 1982 they tried again helping his Democratic opponent Richard Durbin to end Findley’s Congressional career by a margin of less than 1500 votes AIPAC took credit for the win raising over 80 percent of Durbin’s 750000 in campaign funds from around the country AIPAC’s executive director told a gathering in Texas: “We beat the odds and defeated Findley” After politics Three years later in 1985 Findley wrote and published his bold book “They Dare to Speak Out” that described his efforts at peaceful advocacy for a two-state solution which is now supported by many Israelis and Jewish Americans In his book he profiled other Americans who dared to speak out and who endured intimidating slander and ostracism Findley’s documentation of the suppression of their freedom of speech was an early precursor of what is going on now It was acceptable for the early patriots to boycott British tea for civil rights leaders to boycott certain businesses in the South for opponents of South Africa’s apartheid to launch a worldwide economic boycott But some state governments impose sanctions on their contractors if they merely speak out in favor of the call to boycott divest and sanction Israel’s illegal and brutal occupation of Palestine and its millions of Palestinians Today Palestine is only twenty two percent the size of the original Palestine Findley wrote his autobiography in 2011 But it will take a fuller biography to place this modest lawmaker/public citizen and wager of peace over unlawful wars and rampant militarism in the conforming context of his times His career contrasts with the present big business Wall Street over Main Street militaristic GOP and shows that the Republican Party didn’t always demand rigid unanimity To his credit Senator Durbin eulogized Paul Findley as “An exceptional public servant and friend” He classified as an archaeological site which is located among the lands of Arraba town where several Palestinian families reside The sources added that the settlers frequently storm Al-Hafira hill and perform multiple Talmudic rituals on the claim that it’s a Jewish historical siteThey indicated that Israeli soldiers as is their usual practice accompanied the settlers during the storming to give them protection Jewish settlers planted forest trees on Palestinian land as is their usual practice to south of Bethlehem as a prelude for taking it over…residents of the village were surprised to see the settlers and under army protection as is their usual practice planting forest trees in a hilly area about 300 meters away from the nearest home in the village and without any prior notice The land amounts to thousands of dunams and that part of it has been planted with olive trees for decades A spokesman explained that the army as is their usual practice had closed most of that area and would often prevent local farmers from reaching their land to cultivate it even after coordinating their visit to their land with the army He said Israel’s intentions in taking over the land were clear when as is their usual practice they would not allow farmers to reach it and after closing a road to the nearby town of Sourif with dirt since the year 2000 which was later replaced by a metal gate making movement of Jabah villagers mainly high school students seeking to reach their schools in Sourif very difficult and arduous Political Ban Fails to Silence Palestinian Activist in Berlin Two events in Berlin on Friday and Saturday 16 and 17 August featured speeches by Palestinian writer and activist Khaled Barakat who was subject to a political ban by the German state preventing him from speaking about Palestine at any public event or activity Barakat appealed against the political ban in German courts a move that secured a pledge not to renew the political ban when it expired Barakat spoke ✝ Authored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplancom California’s authoritarian governor Gavin Newsom blamed the state of Texas for California’s homeless crisis Rather than put the blame directly on the policies California has instituted that stifle free enterprise and punish heavily those who produce Newsom said it’s the fault of Texas Newsom said many homeless people on the streets of San Francisco are from Texas in an attempt to shift the blame from himself and the polices of socialists who get rich peddling socialism to the masses as everyone else becomes impoverished Former California assemblyman turned Texas resident Chuck DeVore reacted to Newsom pushing the blame onto others The vice president of the Texas Public Policy Foundation Chuck DeVore said Wednesday that Gavin Newsom is “responsible for the policies that have created California’s homeless crisis” in the wake of the governor blaming Texas for San Francisco’s homeless crisis “What you’re seeing here are the words of a desperate man that we should almost feel sorry for” DeVore who served as a California assemblyman for six years told “Fox amp Friends” “Governor Gavin Newsom has been in office now for 22 straight years starting at the San Francisco board of supervisors” DeVore added Homelessness has been rampant across the state of California in the past few years and merchants and homeowners have become increasingly vocal and incredibly irate at how things are going in the socialist dystopia Though San Francisco has more billionaires per capita than anywhere else in the world its homeless problem has rivaled third-world nations according to Fox News So much for all that “wealth inequality” the socialists are constantly pushing down the throats of the ignorant Government policies are the most to blame for San Francisco’s wealth inequality DeVore doubled down on this saying that the government’s enslavement of the people of Californian is exactly why he left He decided to leave California because of its “high cost of living and very burdensome regulations and taxes” “There’s more freedom in places like Texas more opportunity to do what you want to do” he said The sad truth is that socialism doesn’t work and it never has in all the times it’s been tried Humans are not meant to be slaves and eventually they figure out that no one has a higher claim over their lives than they do Unprecedented Airstrikes On Iraq August 25th 2019 Jesus Christ ✝ In an unprecedented escalation which could reshape alliances in the Middle East American officials have confirmed that Israel was behind an airstrike on an Iraqi ammunition depot operated by a pro-Iran militia last month according to The Associated Press: Two American officials said Israel carried out an attack on an Iranian weapons depot in July that killed two Iranian military commanders The US officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter with the media The admission comes after two more mystery explosions rocked paramilitary bases in and around Baghdad within the last two weeks resulting in multiple paramilitary members killed at least one civilian death and dozens of injured and which prompted Iraq’s Prime Minister Abdul-Mahdi to close the country’s airspace to all “unauthorized flights” Aftermath of the recent ‘mystery explosion’ at a military base southwest of Baghdad Iraq Image source: AP Baghdad has threatened “strong response” if it is confirmed Israeli drones or jets are behind the attacks and further the military is ready to shoot down any unauthorized aircraft over Iraqi soil Amid the spate of ‘mystery explosions’ recently rocking the Iraqi capital Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday of this week actually seemed to positively boast that the Israeli Air Force was behind airstrikes on pro-Iran militia bases in Iraq saying that Israel will “continue to act militarily” to curtail Iranian expansion in the region according to The Times of Israel “Iran has no immunity anywhere” he told reporters while on a state visit to Kiev early this week He was responding to a specific question about the mystery attacks on Iraq “We will act — and currently are acting — against them wherever it is necessary” he declared “We act in many arenas against a country that desires to annihilate us Of course I gave the security forces a free hand and the instruction to do what is needed to thwart these plans of Iran” Netanyahu said Both Israeli and Arabic media took it as a tacit admission that Israel is now conducing air raids over Iraqi soil — which if confirmed would mark a huge escalation following repeat airstrikes on Syria of the past couple years Footage showing the August 12th arms depot blast also widely blamed on Israel: Baghdad weapons depot blast Iraq pictwittercom/TzsRlCr1al — Steven nabil thestevennabil August 12 2019 The specific attack US officials have now admitted was carried out by Israel occurred on July 19 The AP described it as follows: The July 19 attack struck a militia base in Amirli in Iraq’s northern Salaheddin province causing a huge explosion and fire A senior official with the Shiite militias at the time told The Associated Press that the base hit housed advisers from Iran and Lebanon — a reference to the Iranian-backed Lebanese Hezbollah group He said the attack targeted the headquarters of the advisers and a weapons depot Iranian media reported a funeral for a “shrine defender” named Abolfazl Sarabian on the next day which typically denotes someone fighting in Iraq and Syria The last base to be hit on August 20 was Balad airbase which actually hosts US forces and contractors according to Reuters The installation also hosts US-supplied Iraqi F-16 fighter jets Thus far Israel has neither explicitly confirmed nor denied having any role in either attacks – Netanyahu’s strong hinting during his comments notwithstanding however with Iraqi military commanders and government officials already denouncing Israel over the repeat strikes and violation of its sovereignty this is sure to hasten growing demands from Iraqi parliament for a hasty US troop exit from the country Source Article from Related Posts The “Lungs of the Earth” Are Literally Being Burned Away as Unprecedented Wildfires Absolutely Ravage Our Planet We have never seen anything Donald Trump as a non-politician who immediately made the jump to politics winning the highest office in the land is abnormal and this abnormality in his background certainly makes him a more unpredictable and refreshing leader even if some of his musings are a big odd or out of left field This time it’s Trump’s desire to up and buy Greenland out right that is making American and global headlines But why is he trying to do this would a virtually unpopulated 51 state do anything for America and is this all even possible to do Of course since Trump thinks grabbing some Greenland is a good idea the Mainstream Media must immediately denounce it even if they are not quite sure how to do so It seems that the primary form of poo-pooing the idea is to loudly imply that since it is an unusual idea it must therefore somehow be impossible Essentially their logic is that since large territories are not bought and sold on a regular basis then it should be somehow absurd for Trump to think he could do this Apparently many of these American “journalists” forget that The Donald is President of a country that bought Alaska and a huge part of its territory from the French America looks the way it does today on a map partially due to large land purchases from foreign powers Everyone who passes 2nd grade social studies in the US should know this There is another argument that since Greenland is already populated by people that makes it impossible to buy from Denmark This talking point makes no sense as the Louisiana Purchase’s territory although sparsely populated was nowhere near being devoid of people same with Alaska both native and of European origin So is there US historical precedent for buying large pieces of land from foreign governments – yes Therefore theoretically it should be possible to do again This is nothing new just something not done on a massive scale for many generations So it is possible to buy Greenland but the question is why even bother It is cold isolated relatively far from the rest of America and has seemingly little to offer economically Well first off if you look at a globe parts of Greenland are as close to Moscow as a few NATO member states like Portugal and Spain In face Greenland kind of sits nicely between the Land of Opportunity and the Snow Bad Guys We shouldn’t forget that Trump has been critical of NATO from the beginning of his campaign and continues to be so He also chose to get the US out of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces INF Treaty The President seems open to a bit of defense restructuring and Greenland could be a good “launching pad” for a different US military strategy in a post-NATO and renegotiated INF Treaty world Europe is starting to get uppity and taking complete and total control of Greenland is a lot easier than taking territory on the continent Even if Denmark protests which they are it is very hard to say “no” to the United States in the long term and very bad for your health If the US is willing to openly threaten NATO member Turkey with sanctions for daring as a sovereign nation to buy tech from the Russians then one could imagine that the Danes could be easily made to suffer for not giving up their very large future US Air Force Base for some nice beads and a few empty promises Greenland also offers the fact that it is sitting on lots of lovely natural resources that would allow America to dig for what it wants instead of possibly buying it from Moscow The purchase of the island is a win-win for America’s future from both a Hard Power and Economic Soft Power perspective Trump is a businessman first and he can obviously see the logic in grabbing the “means of production” rather than just buying from a foreign power that sometimes challenges the US Many would argue that the 50000 inhabitants of Greenland would either protest or just not accept being bought This is true there would be mass protests and the populace wouldn’t approve of this but so what What can they do about it They can march around with signs all the want it will change nothing The Lakota Indians have been begging and protesting for independence as have Hawaiians for some time and how’s that going for them The Mainstream Media won’t cover the inevitable protests thus the “poor Greenlanders” narrative will never come into the global consciousness and their pleas will be heard only by God The Russians will probably send two reporters to shoot a very official documentary movie about them that the world will ignore because some White celebrity is wearing dreadlocks and that is harmful to somebody somehow Furthermore Greenland is a poor location the US could simply bribe the entire populace with 10000 each for a total sum of 500000000 which in terms of Washington’s budget is peanuts Hearts and minds have to be won but often they can just be bought Materialism is one of the greatest means of repression we have ever known it simply works so a little bribery and the promise of nice roads should work to coerce the population it certainly did in Eastern Europe in the 90’s If Trump can make or force the deal taking Greenland would be a massive win for the future of America It would give America access to resources freeing it from having to buy them from Russia It would block any further alleged developments on the territory by the Chinese It would give America an expendable piece of territory just as close to Moscow as some NATO member states which could be critical when/if NATO dissolves The island has a tiny population Assimilating millions takes time but providing for and assimilating 50000 humans is no problem whatsoever for the USA Bribing the locas into submission would be cheap and Greenland is far away enough to stay off the Mainstream Media radar What happens in Greenland stays in Greenland so no uprising could occur no matter what the US buys or does there What can Denmark do to resist other than stalling till a more mainstream US President comes to power “Make America Great Again” is Trump’s slogan on his red hat and when nations are at their “greatest” they are more often than not – expanding Those 50 perfectly organized
